Throughout your career as a journalist, there will be stories you hear and people that you meet that you never forgot. This is one of them. I ran into Angela on another story I was working on one day and she shared with me her story of struggle, pain and then bliss, and I knew her story should be heard. What really stuck with me was her positive spirit though through all the obstacles she endured. I was honored to form a bond with Angela be able to help her gives others like her a sense of hope and inspiration.
ABOUT THE STORY:
Angela Larson was born with a clubfoot and had her first surgery when she was 5 months old. At 19, she has had a total of 12 surgeries.
"My parents were told I would be born with a clubfoot," Angela told Eyewitness News. "I was in pain every day."
But Angela didn't let the pain stop her.
